Highway to life

If you are between 18 and 35+, we bring you this unique and eye-opening trip as the follow on from our Engage Israel tour. It’s the next stage from discovering the miracle of aliyah (the return of the Jewish people to their homeland), and a great opportunity to go that step deeper and ask…

  • What’s an aliyah highway?
  • What could be the cost of standing with the Jewish people?
  • Can the past help us prepare for the future?
  • What does it mean to “remove the stones”? (Is. 62:10)

Day 1: Our trip begins in Berlin with the opening meeting on Saturday evening. We’ll get to know each other, hear some great teaching and enjoy worshipping together!

Day 2: After a morning of insightful teaching, we head out and about in Berlin, where we’ll delve into history in order to learn for the future.

Day 3: A historically rich city, Berlin and surrounds have much to teach us, today we will visit Wannsee, continuing to learn what has gone before us. We will also engage in prayer at specifically chosen locations around the city, building a platform of understanding for our train journey the following day.

Day 4: We take a train from Berlin across into Poland, following the route that countless numbers of Jewish people took to the camp of Auschwitz. We’ll take time to pray at the station and during our journey, proclaiming a new highway — this time, to life!

Day 5: In Krakow, we take a step back in time and explore the historic streets of the Jewish quarter. We’ll learn about life before and during the war, see the Schindler museum and legacy, and discover shocking parallels with the rise in anti-Semitism happening once again before our very eyes. In the evening, we’ll take some time to prepare for our visit to Auschwitz.

Day 6: A truly impacting day touring Auschwitz and spending time reflecting on the history of this site. Learn from the past to get ready for the future, and join in with powerful times of prayer at this significant location.

Day 7: We’ll enjoy some comprehensive teaching and allow the Lord to challenge us as we reflect and share on our time together. We will be connecting with local believers who will also share with us the significance of what happened in their nation, Poland.

Day 8: Morning farewell, departure and travel day.

Following our closing meeting, you are warmly invited to journey on with us to participate in the Global Prayer Call conference, Jerusalem.*
